Questions re: signed cards
Have 40-50 signed cards from 1950-1953. Mostly commons and semi-stars. Is there a good pricing source for them? Are there any auction houses that are a better venue for consigning these?
Thanks in advance for input. |
Heritage, LOTG and maybe Goldin given Joe T is there now do well with signed post war vintage, especially if they include top tier stars. If its commons, then just about anywhere will do as long as they're not buried.

If you're looking to sell for set registry customers, they would have to go through dual grading at PSA/DNA at a base price around $25/card.
Straight up auto authentication from PSA is about $15/card if you go through the annual bulk submission that Raiderguy does on both blowout and PSA/Collector's Universe forums. I normally sell mine on COMC or at my antique mall booth. COMC can run eBay auctions for you, as well as you can get the card/auto graded at PSA through them. |
Try this
Check out eBay completed sales…… if no cards sold, check out autographed 3x5 index cards of the same player. Value of course depends on the card, condition, clarity of the autograph, and presence or lack of personalization along with the brutal fact that the earlier the guy passed away, the better it is for the autograph value. Good luck and happy searching!! Rocky

VCP tracks autograph cards in the PSAQ Auto section
been doing it for 20 years now Some of those common cards that have autos maybe not so common as you think..especially of they had an untimely death and did not sign many cards... |
