FS: 1887 W.S. Kimball Champions COMPLETE Baseball Set PSA Graded
 

Complete Set of all 4 Baseball Players from a relatively scarce 19th century set of athletes from the W.S. Kimball Tobacco company. Some of the cards are stamped on the back R.M. Wade Dealer - Dry Goods, Groceries & General Merchandise - Salem, Oregon. This company is the oldest company in Oregon and still remains in business today.

About 25 of each of these have been graded by PSA across all grades. Beautiful and complex lithographs of the following players:

Dell Darling - 6 Seasons in the majors with 3 with the White Sox

James "Tip" O'Neill - Canadian Baseball Hall of Famer and 1887 Triple Crown Winner. Batted .326 in his 10 seasons with various teams.

Hardie Henderson - Several years in the majors and led the league in wild pitches and barhouse brawls.

Ernie "E.A." Burch - One of the first true free-agents. Was a hired gun arund the league and a solid hitter.

Would like to sell as a complete set but will consider breaking it up if that doesn't work.
