Need help on an inverted stamp
 

Hi curious as to opinions as to value on this stamp belonging to my wife’s family

hard to say for certain from a scan but it certainly looks real and tied to the cover. You could seek out a stamp show or store in your area.

Really needs to be examined by a third party such as APS or the Philatelic Foundation

Thanks I’m 100 percent it’s good the envelope is whole and letter inside mentions the stamp. It’s been in the family since 1930. I am sensing it has enough value to merit finding an expert.
