Ok, so this one is pretty special…

Honestly, we’ve been excited to get to today to offer this amazing and truly rare 1916 Morehouse Baking M101-4/5 Hap Felsch “Black Sox” rookie card for sale as part of our recent Morehouse Baking 2.0 offering.

There is probably no need to overly pump the tires of this player and his infamous Black Sox story but we do want to stress the sheer exclusivity and rarity of the card and the issue itself - as a reminder, the Morehouse Baking Co was based here in Lawrence Mass and inserted these cards with their advertising as incentives to buy their $.10 loaves of bread!

The Moorehouse baking advertising back is exceptionally rare and until this past December, this card was a POPULATION ZERO!

In December, the first ever discovered Felch from the Morehouse Baking series was sold alongside the now famous Babe Ruth, with Felch graded a PSA one with the “Canceled“ back stamp.

That Felch, PAA 1, sold in spirited bidding at REA for $4,400. See details down below.

And now, we are very excited to offer this gorgeous SGC 4 Hap Felch RC for sale here. As you can see, the image is sharp, the centering is excellent and the corners are quite amazing for this 110 year-old rarity.
