I think I made a mistake listing this on ebay as it should be a $3k card and it's under $1k with a day to go.

I wouldn’t worry yet. Most of the hammer price on eBay auctions often comes in the last minute with people sniping.

Exactly, more often than not the last 10 seconds of an auction the price Skyrockets.

I've had a few under $10 that went over $500 in the last few seconds.

It seems these days about 90% of bidders of vintage baseball cards use snipers to bid.

3k might be a little ambitious

I guess I really overpaid at $3200 then ha!

The card is spectacular and it's so difficult to find higher end T205 HOF.

That said, people love those flimsy PSA holders so I'm sure if it was in one of those it would easily fetch that.
