1907 Dietsche Tigers postcards PC765 question

Hey everyone, I recently acquired these three Tigers from the 1907 Dietsche postcard series, but haven't been able to find anything about a variation with a facsimile signature on the front?

They are all marked c. 1907 on the back. I have seen the blank front examples, and those with the names on the front from 1908 & 1909, but nothing on these.

Does anyone have anything they can add about these signature ones? I am hoping those who are far more knowledgeable about these cards than I am could shed some light on these cards...

Thanks in advance for your help with this.

I don't think those are facsimile signatures. Look at the unevenness in the pen flow.

Think Leon is correct. Likely identified on the fronts by a previous owner, maybe the original owner?

Opinion

Here’s an opinion from an admitted non autograph expert…… I think they are hand signed but all by the same person! Compare the way the i’s are dotted away from the letter and especially the “d” in the 2 Ed’s being identical. Cool items anyhow……

Thanks guys. I thought that as well that maybe the writing was added after the fact, I looked at it under a loupe and it didn't appear to show evendence that the writing was on the surface. I didn't notice any indentations or other obvious signs that it was added after the fact. Although I just gave it a cursory glance.

When I get home tonight I'll have to give it a better look with better lighting. Will try to add some more photos later.

I appreciate the insights.

Stay tuned I suppose.

Addition

Fountain pen doesn’t leave much of an indent….. try looking with a bright light at an extreme angle to see if it stands out…..

Here's my update. I came home and took a good look at the cards and you guys were correct, they are live ink vs printed.

While highly unlikely, I will have to do some due diligence and see if I can find examples of the signatures of those three guys to rule out that any of them are autographs. That would be some pretty sweet find.

Thanks for all the help guys!
