Something new in 34 years of bidding.
 

At no point in 34 years of bidding have I ever been outbid on every lot I bid on Thursday May 30 by 7:50 p.m. EST that same day. Four days from conclusion of the auction at that point.

I replied to a post about this auction just yesterday on Facebook!

I noted that this auction does allow bidding by the auctioneer and/or their employees...you're not competing just against other bidders. Most cards show the same "user" as the high bidder, at prices that could be considered beyond their fair value. I do like some of the cards and would be a bidder if it weren't for these red flags and seemingly overinflated bids.

I'm glad you brought that up because I also noticed it and contacted the auctioneer on the matter and asked him if the employees would be bidding in the auction and he said, no. That was before Thursday May 29. Then there were my bids followed by saving gas and NOT traveling from Pittsburgh to Canton to take a closer look at the cards Friday May 30.
