Elon Musk Rumor offer to Purchase the St Louis Cardinals for 14 Billion, more than the Yankees are worth. His son likes the team, if he becomes interested in collecting, nothing he couldn't buy if available. -If so, the AH better add him to their mailing list!

Not sure of his liquid on hand cash --Musk could spend one million a day for 1,095 years!

Sounds like it could be one of those "owning the libs" rumors.

If he wants to do something for St. Louis, he should buy the Arizona Cardinals instead and move them back to St. Louis where they belong.

Imagine how many unnecessary and inefficient people a MLB franchise must employ. Bring out that hatchet!!!

Seems like the source of all the rumors is posts on Facebook (as far as I could find). Forbes has the Cardinals valued at 2.55 billion so I'm sure Musk would be willing to pay over 5 times that. Sounds like a great business move.
