Kinda wild catching stat.
 

I was in a discussion about the recent All-Century team released and how Yadi was the pick at catcher. There were some adamant defenders of Buster Poser and Joe Mauer seemed to be the consensus pick. I was looking at their fielding stats and then realized - Joe Mauer caught exactly 1 MLB game in his 30’s. It’s crazy the durability guys like Yadi and Pudge had when you consider that.

Even that one game was, more or less, just a technicality. He went in as catcher in the final game of his career, caught a pitch-out with no one on base and then another catcher replaced him.
