Has anyone had eBay authentication send them a photo of the card with the reason on why it didn’t pass?

I have. It was a modern card though (rare 90s insert), but there was undisclosed damage that couldn't be seen in the listing. They sent better, up-close photos of the damage so I could make a decision if I wanted it anyway.
