Wrestling Snapshot Identification Help

5 Attachment(s)
Hi-

I have had these photos for several years. One of them (possibly the Iron Sheik) has the year 1976 printed on the back but I am not sure if all of the photos are from the same year. I assume the first one is Hogan and the one with the bloodied face is Lou Albano. Am I correct? Who are the others? Do they all date to around 1976? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

First one is Greg Valintine

Thank you! I am disappointed it isn't Hogan but I am glad to know who it is. I really appreciate your help.

Third is Jerry Lawlor.

Fourth is Killer Khan.

Circa-1976 might be about right for all of them, but that is just a guess.

The last one might be Manny Fernandez (I'm not 100% certain), who debuted in 1977.

I’m not so sure that’s Valentine in photo 1 as he has a distinct face. Honestly it looks more like a younger Flair.

Thank you guys! It looks like the only one I had right was Albano, and that is because his name was written on the back! The last one has something like Madril written on the back but it is hard to make out. The rest have nothing on the back except for the Khan that has 1976 on it. I really appreciate everyone's help with these!

It's Valintine. One key giveaway is the purple robe.

1st instinct, I thought it was Greg Valentine to, but on closer look, I don't see Greg Valentine either. He had a much blockier build and head. Even in his earlier Johnny Fargo and Baby Face Nelson days.

Thank you guys! Would it help for me to post a 600 DPI scan of the wrestler in the first picture's face? I can do that tonight if it might help. I really appreciate everyone's thoughts on these.

Might be Austin Idol.

I think you might be right with that one. 👍

Thank you, I wasn’t even thinking Idol. I would still argue as I knew it wasn’t valentine.

I almost looks like Bruno Sammartino standing in the ring in the Albano picture
