FS: 1964 Willie Mays Fortune Shoe Premium
 

I have a great Mays piece available that is seldom seen. His 1964 Fortune shoes premium. The premium measures 9x12 and presents beautifully. The back has 2 tape stains in the corners and looks like somebody wrote Willie in pencil.
Quite a rare piece, I only know of a few big Mays collectors that have one.

The second photo is an ad from the April 1964 issue of Ebony Magazine which shows the drawing. Circled in Red shows how these were handed out (please zoom in if needed). No doubt if you sent a mail in request for a drawing you would've been happily surprised to see how nice it was compared to the little printed cartoon shown in the ad.

A great large sketch way ahead of its time.
