This photo was posted here twelve years ago; the identification of the team and of individual players on the team was disputed by just about everyone who responded. The original thread is here: https://www.net54baseball.com/showth...ubuque+Rabbits

Thousands of people actually believe the Earth is flat.
I wouldn't be able to convince not one with the facts
the Earth is really round.

If you posted it here 12 years ago and it was roundly debunked, why go through the same exercise again? If it is what you say it is, send it to a reputable AH and let them assess it and market it.

Mainly because a obscure date 1881 was discovered, In Nicholls book Joe Quinn Among the Rowdies, Joe joined the Rabbits in 1881, Comiskey and Joe Quinn are right on dead ringers. I have the PROOF in the Photo, show me your PROOF, besides just opinion's --(I reside in Missouri, you have to show me)

Oh my god — thank you for adding this … truly fascinating.

He’s had this for three decades, disappeared for 12 years, and today he decides to surface looking for $50,000.

Delusional? Maybe. But I respect the commitment to the long game…

The proof is in the photo, not opinions, I'm shocked some on here claim to be experts and cant except the proof/Facts---- Ill stick to the facts. For the record, Artist HA Jordan was in Business at Dubuque in 1881( photo dated and stamped Dubuque)--so if this Rabbits photo isn't for anyone's collection on Net 54, That's okay. I still like sharing my early Comiskey Photo--maybe we'll see you in Chicago--Bye!

Yes The proof is in the photo. The ears don't match so it cannt physically be Comiskey. Doesn't matter if Comiskey knew this guy or that photographer. What we do know is it is not Comiskey in your photo.
But I understand to a person such as yourself ten a hundred a thousand even TEN THOUSAND NO'S mean nothing....all you need is one person with the means to belive your lie so you can cash in. Damm shame is what it is.

Good question--First time I decided to take an offer my original 144 year old Dubuque photo to a National, 50K is a lot of money for most collectors--my daughter doesn't want it, or any of my other collectable, already sold my Cobbs, Ruth and Gehrig's, Cap Anson cards, was sad to let them go but we all have to face the future of reality versus being sold at garage sale. ( still have a couple thousand autos and vintage cards need to figure the best way to let them go )--I guarantee this photo is authentic and hopefully can be under another collectors watch for the next 35 years!
