Delong Gehringer - can you confirm it’s legit?
 

Hi all - I just received the Delong Gehringer in the photo below. It was sold along with an autographed index card, as you see.

No red flags with the eBay listing - the seller is clearly a vintage card dealer with a good-sized inventory (although mostly postwar), 99.8% positive feedback, and the price wasn’t too good to be true. The only unusual thing was the inclusion of the auto.

I wasn’t expecting that the authenticator would also handle the auto, but I assumed they would at least inspect the card. Nope - they just said it was “miscategorized” and shipped it on to me. Total cop out, but whatever.

The card looks/smells/feels good to me, including under magnification, so I have no reason to be suspicious. But it’s my first Delong, so if you could help me to confirm that it’s fine, I’d appreciate it. I have 6 DeLongs. From the photo it looks good to me.
