SUPER-RARE 1932 Giants Schedule Postcards –


As you probably know if you're reading, this fascinating set consists of a common Carl Hubbell card and about twenty more players that you never see.

• In fact, Vintage Card Prices has recorded only one non-Hubbell sale from the set in the past twenty years (a Bill Terry in 2013).

• SGC and PSA have only graded 26 cards total from the set (other than Hubbell) – just over one per player. Most of these are held in two or three collections.

I'm offering two here:

• Johnny Vergez PSA 5.5 $995

• Shanty Hogan, ungraded, in the VG range with a little staining, no major flaws - $675

I did see a Luque example sell in an auction house a few years ago, and I lost out. So, VCP isn't capturing everything.

I would love to see that auction record, but googling Luque doesn't bring it up for me. Any other info you can provide would be appreciated-

Beyond that, I'm not sure of your point. We all know there are private sales and a few auction sales that don't get recorded by VCP because they are in lots or ungraded. Does that change the overall rarity of these cards?
