Soaking a Topps stamp album

I have a couple of 1961 and 1962 Topps stamp albums that I'd like to remove the stamps from
I understand that you can soak them, but how?

Do you need to soak one page at a time?
How do you dry them if you did?
What's the technique for single page soaking without tearing the book apart?

Guidance before my experimenting will be appreciated

Personally I'd leave them in.

But they should soak easily.
Just regular water, leave them in a few minutes maybe long enough they just float off.
Doing one page while in the book is challenging, although the part farther away from the fold will be easiest

For drying a stamp drying book would be the best way, if not, laying them face down on a paper towel with no patterns or wax paper works well.
