PSA HOF Restricted Set Changes Needed
 

Hi everyone, I was scanning through the PSA HOF restricted set for players and noticed multiple errors. And these errors don't include if the card is a players true rookie card (ex. t206 vs a smaller regional set released a few years before t206, laughlin's vs playing days cards, etc). It's a shame they got so many wrong given this is my favorite set. Who doesn't love HOF rookie cards?

My question to you all is does anyone know how or even if this set can be updated? It's a restricted set so in theory it is never supposed to change, but these errors should be corrected. Thanks in advanced, and feel free to point out additional errors I did not catch.

Errors:

• T206 John McGraw: John MCgraw was inducted as a manager not a player, so he shouldn't be in this set
• T206 Miller Huggins: Miller Huggins was inducted as a manager, not a player. So he shouldn't be in this set
• 1933 Eddie Collins: He has a T206, and 1933 was post playing days. Not sure why they would not use his T206
• 1948 Bowman Johnny Mize: If they used a 1941 Double Play for Lou Boudreau, then the 1941 Double Play should be used for Mize
• All 1948/1949 Bowman/Leaf card: If this is a restricted set, then 1 card should be used, not multiple
• 2001 SP Authentic Ichiro: If PSA uses the Bowman/Topps issue for most cards, I'm not sure why they wouldn't use his base topps for his rookie card

Good luck getting them to spend the time to fix this stuff. My experience is that it’s not easy.

But in the limited cases where I have had success, it’s started with sending an email to setregistry@collectors.com. Usually it will take a week for them to respond, but they typically will respond.

I think McGraw would have easily made the HOF if he never managed a game. He was a .334 lifetime hitter with the third highest OBP ever (behind only Williams and Ruth).
