SGC Grading Question

When submitting cards, how do you determine value of the cards?
Raw value? Expected grade value?
Thanks

I use expected grade value

The value of any collectible item is determined by its owner, and a potential buyer.

If I pay $20 for a card then the value of that card is $20. If I sell the card to someone else for $50, then the value of the card is $50.

I’m a reseller in my spare time. 2 weeks ago, I bought a portable massage table for $30 and yesterday I sold it for $80. When I paid $30, that was the value at that moment. When I sold it, it had a new value.

I agree - just use a more recent graded value using the PSA App, website or SMR - seems to work out with no issues with grading companies.

Good luck!
