Board games: Let’s see them!
2 Attachment(s)
Picked up a number of board games over the last few years. I really like the graphics on some of the games from the 50’s and 60’s. I thought this would be a fun thread. Let’s see what’s out there. Came across this one from 1974 this past weekend. It looks like it was never played. The cards are like new.

According to Keyman Collectibles site this game was made from around 1968 until 1988 or so.

I used to have a 1974 Topps football set. Loved that set as a kid. The cards look like they are in great condition. Any good names? Could be some good value in some of those cards. Did the Topps cards come with the game or did they player need to provide them? I see there is a ’73 set on the cover - another good set. Any ‘73s in the box?

Okay you asked for it!!!

Attachment 657730 Over 100 years old in working order with all the original pieces. Perhaps the original concept for 8 reels of results depending on base runners used by APBA. In better condition than others I have seen and yes I own it. |
Those are awesome games!

From Trading Card Database:
1974 Topps Parker Brothers Pro Draft Notes 50-card set printed by Topps for distribution in a Parker Brothers football board game. Cards have the same design as 1974 Topps and the card numbers correspond with those of that set, but all cards in this set have two asterisks (**) in the copyright line on the back while their 1974 Topps counterparts have only one asterisk (*). Please note the following cards have different designs from 1974 Topps and were printed in two variations: #23, #49, #116, #124, #126 and #127. Cards with stats show 1972 season. |

I only have these two to share...
1. 1913 Major League Baseball Game (with Carl Horner T206 images) 2. 1920 Baker's Ball Game for Men and Boys (featuring the 1919 Cincinnati Reds). It's a behemoth. |
Magnificent example Tony!
If my computer didn't keep dying, I might've beaten you to the punch. :o |

Never really got into board games, but I did once have, many many years ago, the MLB Indoor Game w/o the Carl Horner photos (the cheap version :)), and this 1910 Milton Bradley game.
