Jackie auto on Fanatics Collect $$$
 

I've seen Jackie autos going for around $2,000 in recent months. I put a bid in and this thing just exploded at the end. Is there something ultra rare about this white version postcard or is this just people with big pockets doing crazy things?

Jackie elected in 62 and they stopped making Black and White plaques in 63. So not much overlap.

That is a ridiculously high price for it. They usually go for half of that. Two rich guys battling it out got out of hand for one of them. The loser should be happy!!

Price seems high, though one thing I noticed is that a decent number of these seem to have been personalized and this one is not, so that likely helped.
