Forum similar to Net54 for non-sport ephemera?
 

Hello, long time member here wondering if anyone knows of a forum like net54, that is designed for the discussion and buying/selling of vintage non-sport ephemera, such as vintage photos entertainment/Hollywood, music, military, old snapshots, daguerreotypes, CDV’s, tintypes, cabinets, stereoviews, postcards, magazines, etc? Any topic/subject. But not necessarily non-sports cards. Primarily old photos and other ephemera. I’ve tried a few Facebook groups, but most are just for buying/selling with not much discussion. Plus I’m just not a big fan of Facebook in general. Particularly for buying selling. That is one of the beauties of net54, the BST forum, where you can buy/sell privately, to an informed audience. Also net54 has so many knowledgeable collectors, dealers, buyers and sellers that are passionate about the hobby, where you can learn, contribute and share your collection. That is exactly what I’m looking for, an antique/vintage ephemera forum that is not necessarily sports related. Try as I might the past few months, I can’t seem to find such a forum. So thought I’d ask here, in case I’m just missing it. Thank you. Below, is one of my favorite Braves photos, Del Crandall!

I don't have an answer to your question, but fwiw I would love to see more BST and discussion of vintage non-sports on here. I think there is a fair amount overlap with vintage baseball collectors.

Plenty of facebook groups for this type of stuff.

Old school forums not so much.

Have you ever clicked on the non sports link at the very top right icon on Net54? It’s not as robust as here but I’ve made a few deals in that area…… Rocky

That would be cool, maybe even for non-sport ephemera too 😀 I know a lot of members here dabble in other collectibles, not always sports related. I think there was a recent thread with photos here!

That is what I was afraid of, I may have to re-visit some of those Facebook groups 😕

Thanks, I had not seen that, but it does look like it’s primarily for non-sport cards. But I may ask around there too!
