Closing Tonight - Love of the Game Auctions' Spring Premier Auction
Hi All!
Just a quick reminder that tonight is closing night for Love of the Game's Spring Premier Auction. Extended bidding begins at 9pm. We've got some great material in this auction, beginning right at the top, with a beautiful grouping of signed 1949 Bowman cards, highlighted by Jackie Robinson. There's also a beautiful Type I photo of the 1915 Boston Red Sox, including a rookie Babe Ruth. The photo originates from the estate of Smoky Joe Wood. For Ruth collectors, there's also a beautiful, oversized Type I example of the Pulitzer Prize-winning "Babe Ruth Bows Out" photo by Nat Fein, signed by the photographer. There's a wonderful selection of Old Judge cards and cabinets, a host of rare 19th and early 20th Century type cards, and for collectors of more recent material, we've broken up a complete, high-grade 1960 Topps Registry set. We're also trying something new tonight - from 7 til 8 pm (edt), Andrew and I will be hosting an auction night livestream, on both Facebook and Instagram live. If you're around tonight, join us for some hobby chat! If you're so inclined, the auction is here: https://bid.loveofthegameauctions.com/Lots/Gallery Best of luck to our bidders and awesome consignors! -Al |
