Hottest start ever?

Aaron Judge has 6 HR and 17 RBI and it's ..... April 4th.

Not bad, but he batted .205 last October in 14 postseason games.

He was due.

Contrast Aaron Judge's start with Juan Soto's whom the Yankees "lost" to the Mets.

;)

Aaron Judge is the best power hitter in the game. It's a high class problem that largely only afflicts Yankees, but he's just got to get that playoff albatross off his neck, or he'll never be considered one of the greats.

Meaningless, but sort of funny, Judge projects to 139 HR and 393 RBI lol.

Yeah, those beginning of season projections are always funny.

This time last year after 7 games he projected at 23 HR's, 92 RBI's, 46 Runs Scored and a .179/.273/.357/.630 OPS stat line for the season.

If I remember correctly, he ended up having a pretty good season. ;)

I just hope he stays healthy. May be my imagination but I seem to remember he gets hurt more often when he gets off to a quick start. Just a coincidence if true....but still. :(

Hell, he was hovering around .200 for about the first 36 games of season, and ended up competing for a Batting Title.

hottest start

I'm partial to Rod Carew's start in 1977. 48 hits in his first 96 at bats:)
My man Rod!
