Is this a 1969 Kelly's Chip Zip Sticker?
 

I think my "buy random things that I've never seen before (that seem way too cheap) because I obsessively look at cards" strategy may have paid off again (I'll withhold what I paid if my assumptions are true)

I've spent a good bit of my evening researching, but is this a 1969 Kelly's Chip Zip Sticker? The only ones I'm seeing are "Blue" so its throwing me off (but could very well be a team color thing as those are all Bears). Are these are rare as they seem? (Looks like a Mike Pyle sold For $2k earlier today or is that an outlier?). If so, does anyone know if SGC slabs these? (the ones I'm seeing are only slabbed by BGS)

Sorry I am just seeing this. Yes, this is absolutely a Kelly's Cip Zip Sticker. They come in different colors. I have them in red, blue, and green. They are extremely difficult to find for sure.

Yea, I exchanged messages with Wayne (the original poster of the linked thread) but I didn't really realize how rare they were until over the weekend at a couple shows -- even the Dealers who were alive in the Town that these were Produced (and remember the late 60s) didn't know of these cards (I live about an hour from Decatur)

Well I'm sorry I was tied up and missed this thread as I would have loved to have picked this one up.

Sorry Jeff, I'll know next time! I actually listed in the B/S/T Section and responded to the offers from that.

May have to put the next one I find up on the auctions here, given the interest, ha! (I'm GOING TO Find one, I'm on a mission!)

I'll have a Bakken available in a few days if you need it (I'd assume you probably already have that one, as it seems to be one of the more common ones from the set)
