He played the whole summer of 1980 for AAA Rochester (12-9 2.18 ERA 102 IP), then was called up late that summer and made his Big League Debut on October 4, 1980. No idea if he pitched either of these 2 games, but he was definitely on the team these games in the dugout. You probably could find it on a newspapers.com site if he did in fact pitch either of these 2 games.
