Help with MLB Autograph ID
2 Attachment(s)
I'm trying to help my father in law ID this autographed baseball in his collection. He's 93 now, and has memory issues. Has no recollection who signed the ball or how he got it.
Only clue I have is someone on eBay is selling a game ball from the 1984 Olympics. One of six autographs on that ball matches this one. Thanks for the help. |

That's it! Thanks!

It is interesting that you saw an example of a ball for the 1984 Olympic baseball team with his signature. He not part of that team.

Yes, that threw me off, too. But I saw the photo, with the 1984 Olympic Game Ball stamp. Four or five signatures, his was one. But I didn't find him listed on any roster. Maybe he was there for the games and whoever had the ball recognized him? Or he was an assistant coach or something? No idea.

Bordick was a rookie in 1991. Nobody would have gotten him on a 1984 Olympic ball. Most likely it's a different player with a similar autograph.

The last name almost looks like Scott Bankheads signature, but he wore #15 for the Olympic demonstration games.
