Fall River Team Postcard New England League?
 

Hi-

I bought this Fall River team postcard a couple of months ago at an antique shop. I am trying to figure out if it shows the Fall River Indians from the early 1900s or if it is a non professional team. The Indians were in the New England League during the pre divided back postcard era.

Usually, I assume a picture or postcard like this is high school but I checked and the the high school is BMC Durfee. It has had Durfee in the name since it was created in the late 1880s. However, maybe it is the high school team anyway?

There are a couple of pictures online that are close that are identified as New England League but none with the same color (the one I saw online that is close has darker colored shirts.

This is definitely the Fall River team from the New England League, early 1900s. I recognize several of the players but cannot put names to the faces after all these years. Several of these players made the majors, but none were stars. The manager is Tommy McDermott, who led FR from 1902-06.
