1908 Victor Publishing Cy Young PSA 5.5
Just picked up this rare postcard. It mocks Cy Young for his lack of vices (wine, women and gambling). He would have been 41 or 42 at the time. It's the highest grade out of PSA pop 3 and SGC pop 4. Value unknown. No sales data.

Note: Top center right of the holder was damaged during packaging and a Lot # sticker was placed on the back bottom right. It will be sent to PSA for reholder.

That's awesome! I had no idea this existed - which is why I'm still in the hobby - cause I haven't seen everything yet. Fantastic stuff, thanks for sharing this!

Beautiful card, Doug!
I'd guess the value to be in the ballpark of $3k, no?

Bobby, I found some sales data on raw and grade 1, 2 and 3 but not this card. I did find a SGC 4.5 for sale on the forum but I don't know if it was sold.

Rob, thanks. I hate that the holder was damaged. I've already sent it off to PSA for reholder. I can't wait to get in back. Yes, I know that sales history for this PSA 5.5 very well!

Cy young

Rob, I think you have to add 25 percent to the 3,000 price on invaluable so like 3750.

It’s a very cool card. Congrats!

Im not sure about the mocking aspect.
To me it's more like "he was as good as he was for as long as he was because he avoided several vices"

True, I didn't think about it that way.

That's the nicest one of these I've ever seen.
