Now this is a rookie card.
|
I guess you could always get a sonogram as an earlier issue?
|
Not sure if that is more weird than cool.
Graded baby pics...hmm...I dunno. On a tangentially related note, I have a U16 USA team card of Francisco Lindor. It's his first card. And then I'm like, if one of my buddies showed me a card depicting a 15-year old female athlete, I'd think it'd be more than a little creepo. |

wait I thought his true rookie was the 1912 ultrasound real photo of Mize.
|
Do not be fooled by ultrasound rookie collectibles for players born before 1956. Ultrasound was first used in 1956, and thus there will never be ultrasounds of Babe Ruth or his fellow contemporaneous prenatal phenoms.
Brian (Eddie Murray and Paul Molitor, both born in 1956, would be the earliest Hall of Famers who could possibly have sonograms available. Therefore, if you come across a born in 1955 Robin Yount sonogram, you can be assured it is not authentic) Brian |
Agreed, I can't even bear to have a photo or card of.a player in street clothes. I just don't see how they have any value.
|
How can it be his rookie card if it came out in 1977?
Besides, it doesn't have the official "RC" logo. :D (okay, I'll see myself out...) |
And it's 1 of 2. Someone could get both and go for a registry play!
