1964 Orioles Clergy Pass

Folks, I just picked this up today at an antique store. What am I looking at? I can't find anything on the web regarding something like this. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to net54 Perry.
Looks pretty straightforward, seems to be a season pass (except opening day, etc) for members of the clergy. I collect Dodgers season passes and haven't seen anything like that. I was going to make a joke along the lines of "of course the Dodgers didn't need as much help as the O's did in the era" but decided against it so that nobody would bring up the 1966 season. |
Pretty cool; would go well with the Catholic clergy trading card collection I've started getting deep into.
I have cards of like 10 different popes, 4 nuns, a few bishops/cardinals, and some regular old priests and monks. https://img.comc.com/i/MultiSport/19...e6c8&size=zoom https://img.comc.com/i/Non-Sports/19...90b3&size=zoom https://img.comc.com/i/Non-Sports/19...573e&size=zoom https://img.comc.com/i/Baseball/1982...e7d8&size=zoom https://img.comc.com/i/Baseball/2019...a0e3&size=zoom https://img.comc.com/i/Baseball/2023...98e4&size=zoom https://img.comc.com/i/Baseball/1997...f001&size=zoom https://img.comc.com/i/Non-Sports/19...635a&size=zoom And, while not a real Catholic priest, he played one on TV: https://img.comc.com/i/Non-Sports/19...44d7&size=zoom |

I just got an email back from the Oriole's front office. It appears that the card belonged to Rev. Basha P Jordan (+1980). His son Basha Jordan Jr. lives down here in the Tampa/St. Pete area, which is where I found the card.
Thanks for the replies, folks! It's amazing the depth of knowledge you folks have. |

Based on the obituary, he was Methodist. I guess I expected a Baltimore chaplain to be Catholic based on the population there.
