Not IMO.

Not in my opinion from what I can see.

My first impression was - it is in a frame. Is this yours or are you considering purchasing it?

Is it a photo or what?

I won't purchase anything that is framed, especially sight unseen, unless it has been authenticated by PSA or JSA and then I would really be cautious. Same way with a card that is in a sleeve. Frames and sleeves are notorious for hiding issues, etc.

If it's yours and you won't a better opinion, please do the following:

1. Remove it from the frame.

2. Include a photo of the complete item, front and back.

3. Provide any provenance that you're aware of, or a short brief of its history if known.

Also, what you think of the autograph.

Good luck.

My gut says no.

The “To Kevin Best Wishes” doesn’t match the signature. I’ve seen other Clemente personalized items where the entire inscription looked just like his signature.

So, in that case, some guy named Kevin does that? Personalizes it to himself and, thus, decreases the value if it’s a real signature? Which, BTW, I still don’t think it is.

I had one on a 1972 Topps card and had lots of issues getting a COA, tough either way - try asking a Kevin Keating or JSA rep before wasting your money on a COA - went through too much money before someone had been sure it was real and bought it from me.

Good luck!

No, some guy name Kevin wrote the entire thing, but didn’t think to write the inscription in Clemente’s signature style.

I wonder if Kevin does other TTM signatures on request.

I am not an expert in signatures or autographs, but I have numerous Clemente autographs that I acquired in person, and the "Roberto" looks too compressed. The letters are not rounded, and they run over one another more than I've seen on those that I know to be genuine. Nonetheless, I am not an expert, and I recommend that you ask someone who is.

My name is Kevin .
This is not authentic in my opinion - not to say it’s not authentic - but there are too many signature discrepancies IMO to feel comfortable with it . I look for certain HOFer autographs with a “ To Kevin “ inscription and this is not one I would buy . I may be wrong but my gut says no, and I have 3 certified Clemente autographs even though I rely on my gut opinion as much as a TPA .

This looks like to me what you received from Clemente and Pirates when requesting an autograph thru the mail sometimes it appears to be ghost signed by a clubhouse employee in Clemente's style..Many times Roberto signed his own autograph requests especially early in his career.. unfortunately he had a little help with this one..
