this card is not for sale.

just my "comparison" to another one that sold recently.

the '56 is ICONIC, no question.

(there are two small "shadows" on his hat - this is from the glare of the PICTURE, not on the card)

and the back is super clean

So, the pictured card is not the one that you are actually selling? If that is accurate, and if you can post a comparison card, why can you not just post the actual card you are selling? Do you have a price?

b/c i am computer inept, i ended up opening up a new thread so as to post
the picture of my '56 mantle for comparison's sake.

which is why i IMMEDIATELY posted underneath the card, that it was not for sale. again, i apologize for any confusion.

He might have been confused and looking for the one you were selling because you posted in the Buy/Sell/Trade section instead of posting in the thread and section where it belonged.

Posting a 56 Mantle for sale makes people look and then be disappointed that there is no such card for sale.

Maybe edit the title to say "Not for sale" or something?
