New Member Intro: Inaka + Vida Blue rookie
Hey all,
Just wanted to introduce myself here. I'm Inaka and I collect mostly vintage player collections from Oakland A's and Oakland Raiders star players. I'm a big fan of Vida Blue, and a couple of months ago I submitted a Vida Blue rookie to SGC, and the result was this: https://i.imgur.com/wpr04WG.jpeg Pretty rare graded for this card, and it made my day! Just wanted to share this awesome card from one of my favorite A's players. Cheers everyone. |
Nice card. Congratulations and welcome to the board.

Welcome aboard!!
(Sorry your teams left town.) :( |
Welcome
Love 1970's rookies - and that is an amazing Vida Blue example.
|
Welcome.
Are you following the A's to Sacramento? |

My last game at the Coliseum in Oakland was the Reverse Boycott game. So I collect vintage. Harks back to a simpler time. :) |
Here's also a fun little "set" I put together in a vintage style from some of my favorite Oakland A's players from the 1980s.
https://i.imgur.com/YDTwzg2.jpeg These are custom cards I made in the vintage Topps 1955 All-American style (one of my favorite designs). I then get them autographed by each person, so they're real autos on the cards. I just put them in MagPro cases, since I can't encapsulate them anymore with PSA/DNA. Last week I received the Krazy George autographed card. I was able to speak to Krazy George on the phone for about a half hour. Really nice guy and he's still cheering! (Largely for the SJ Earthquakes) and he mentioned the A's haven't contacted him yet about Sacramento. We'll see. But these are fun cards that are pretty special to me of the glory days of the A's in Oakland. :D |
Hey, Gene Tenace was no slouch either.
Love the custom cards. Even the little flips are cool. Reminds me of Mouschi's stuff. |
