Pay Attention To Your Symptoms

I thought I had a bad cold; I have pneumonia. If you feel your chest crackling, get to an urgent care ASAP and get it checked out.

Hope you have a fast recovery. I have been fighting a cold for 12 days now and thankfully it is almost over.

I was hospitalized for 4 days at the VA 2 weeks ago. I had the flu but was having a hard time breathing. The doctor said I was wheezy when I spoke. Of course being a child of the 60's and 70's, when he said that all I could think of was George Jefferson and his wife
After I got out I started feeling better for about a week, then I felt crappy again.. I went to be checked out and found that I tested positive for Covid.. So, to summarize, within 2 weeks I had influenza type A and followed it up by getting Covid too.
It's been kind of a miserable last 3 weeks.

A lot of walking pneumonia cases out there. A lot. And flu. And Covid. And some digestive thing. Lot out there.

Hope you feel better soon .
In mid Missouri there’s a flu going around that makes your skin hurt

I hope you have a speedy recovery, Adam. I've been able to avoid any bugs so far. Fingers crossed.

People still die of pneumonia though. It's often because they're weakened otherwise but pneumonia is listed as the final cause of death.

Ended up being over two weeks in bed, multiple antibiotics, and still coughing a bit, which can last for a month or more after the infection clears, but I am over it. Definitely gonna get the pneumonia vaccination next fall.
