Hi, I recently purchased, what the seller stated is a cabinet card. He wasn’t sure who it was or what set it was from. Would anyone be able to help identify it? Thanks in advance for the help.

Cabinet photo

Cabinet photo probably from the early 1900's of a college, hs, or other non-pro player. Nice, clear image.

Good call on Weimer. As somebody who collects him and has done a fair amount of research (hence the username), I don't think it's him, but there is a resemblance and the handedness is right. If it was him, it would likely be from the 1890s, before his big league career.

'handedness' - expanding my vocabulary. Thanks!
