Wanted Vintage Baseball Gloves (J.A Peach)
 

Hey guys! I’ve spent a lot of time researching different gloves and wanted to do my due diligence before deciding on a long-term approach to collecting gloves. I’m looking to buy vintage gloves produced by the J.A Peach company. I would like to buy items in fairly good shape as I have no experience restoring vintage gloves. I’m not picky on what model, but an added bonus would be a good tag still intact or the patent button cinch feature that they produced on their gloves for about 5 years. I’m in no rush to purchase, but would like to start collecting now that I have an idea of what I like. Hi Drew, that's fantastic! I love that you are choosing a manufacturer and going for it. As I'm sure you saw from the J.A. Peach gallery, I have only cataloged less than 10 of them in the last 30 years and those models are pretty locked down in advanced collections. Would be hard to get any, or even one. Hey JD! Your website is incredible! I have spent too many hours to count pouring over those images and sifting through the gallery. Believe it or not the very first week I looked into vintage baseball gloves I missed out on a Peach fielders glove that went for only $36. I didn’t realize how rare it was (this was only a few years ago). It was in rough shape but had a perfect tag, I just didn’t realize what it was being that new to collecting unfortunately. I will occasionally bump this thread over time rather than reach out directly to collectors for now. Hopefully if someone is looking to sell eventually they will keep me in mind. I really appreciate your response and taking the time to respond to me. Even though I have less than 15 gloves, I am truly passionate about the hobby and can’t wait to see what items you catalog next!
