Yellow Name/Yellow Team 1958 Aaron
Can an authentic 1958 Topps Hank Aaron have both the player name and the team name in yellow? I bought a signed one Friday at Heritage Auctions with the blue PSA/DNA label certifying that the autograph, but not the card, is authentic. I was unable to upload a photo. https://sports.ha.com/itm/baseball-c.../50076-58785.s

Yes, it's a true variation.
https://img.comc.com/i/Baseball/1958...&size=original 1958 Topps - [Base] #30.2 - Hank Aaron (Player Name in Yellow) [PSA 3 VG] Courtesy of COMC.com Recommend you resubmit to PSA for dual grading and they'll put it in a slab with variation and grade the card. The card is authentic and around VG, IMO. Oh, you may want to PM Leon and ask him to move the post to Post-War Baseball Cards forum, since your question was about the baseball card. |
100% agree with John. The yellow letter variation is kinda tough and with a signature might be unique. Either way, if it's on the flip it will raise the price. Nice card..
