Vintage New York Yankees roasted peanuts package
 

A few weeks ago, I acquired a really fun piece—a vintage 1960s-era New York Yankees roasted peanuts package. It was originally acquired with a 1966 Official Score Card and Program (with Mickey Mantle on the cover) by two brothers who went to a Yankees home game in 1966.

I love history and ephemera, so I immediately started researching about it. I’ve not found anything about Aster Nut Products peanuts served at Yankee Stadium in 1966 or any images of previous roasted peanuts packages, only reading a bit about the Aster Nut Products company's history. I'm really enjoying having this fun piece in my collection, though I may opt to move it along in the near future to fund the next purchase.

If anyone has any info they have on this, I'm all ears!

I think somewhere in my collection, I have one of the little paper hats the vendor would wear probably selling these.
