Psyched to pick up the oldest card in my collection, an 1887 N284 Morrissy !
Got a great deal on this at a local card show. I paid about $100 for this as part of a group deal. :)

Ut oh, he's got a taste for 19th century... advice, when the dealer puts an OJ in front of you, "just say no to drugs" else you're going to turn into a complete 19th century junkie.

Dude, stop being such a bummer! haha jk! No I hear you, it totally is not perfectly square all around. Looking at other examples it looks kind of common with this issue. Some are more or less straight and rectangular but a good number that I see have jaggedy and wavy edges. So I'm not sure. Maybe sometimes people trimmed them when they put them in their albums? Not sure if this kind of info is out there somewhere.
