Vintage containers for storing vintage cards?

OK this thread is a rather hamfisted attempt to share a recent purchase that I'm excited about. But I would love to see if anyone else is using old containers to store or display old cards! I think I'll store a stack of graded cards in this one.

That's awesome. Awesome.

Let's see that card too.

Thanks Jim. Here's the card. Pairing this thing with a true Butter Krust D304 would be fun but I hadn't realized how expensive they are

Love that storage method! Some pretty great cards just on that top layer of the boxes, wow.

Not that I would store my cards in it but I picked up this Cardinet Candy Tin, makers of the Texas Tommy cards.

Very cool. Old candy and gum packaging is just about the best.

I love that idea putting them in old Cigar boxes. I think I will have to search for some in the next couple weeks. Never thought about that only thought about displaying them on a shelf on stands. One side SGC and other side PSA.

One place to check is your local tobacco store, if you have one.

I love having cards in vintage displays like this, and have a few myself. Here's a couple, including a Mayo's tin and a Cap Anson cigar box...
