NFL Playoffs - Who's your team???

I'm almost afraid to say it, because the end result is always the bitterly depressing same each winter, but...

Let's go, Bills!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beercan collector 01-10-2025 07:12 PM

Been a Chiefs fan since the early 70s ,
Never had a bad year , even when we weren’t winning -
Seems we always had some Hall of Fame players To keep us entertained

bk400 01-10-2025 07:59 PM

With the Giants rebuilding, I'm rooting for the Lions and the Eagles. Dan Campbell and Saquon Barkley both have Giants DNA.

I'm rooting for the Detroits to go all the way, Lions fans deserve at least one. A few of my friends are from Michigan, some of them aren't even aware of the curse of Bobby Layne

KJA 01-10-2025 08:56 PM

Green Bay, been a fan since the days of Randy Wright

jingram058 01-10-2025 10:09 PM

AFC - Bills
NFC - Lions

If that Super Bowl comes to pass, I can't lose.

SyrNy1960 01-11-2025 01:53 AM

Minnesota Vikings 🏈

JollyElm 01-11-2025 10:31 PM

Man, those two games today ended up being slaughter-fests. Pretty scary how quickly the Houston/Chargers game turned. Yowza!!!

Now, let's go Buffalllllllllllllllllloooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mark17 01-11-2025 10:46 PM

After playing 17 games this year, only 2 teams have beaten the Vikings - the Lions and Rams. Monday the Vikes play the Rams. I do not feel good about this. The wily veteran Stafford against the deer-in-the-headlights Darnold.

I'd love seeing a Vikings-Bills Super Bowl, but I expect it to be the Eagles and Ravens.

JollyElm 01-12-2025 03:23 AM

It's funny, Buff beat both of the teams that earned byes in the first round - the only team to do so - but the Ravens made them look silly early in the season, so that's kind of a scary outlook (hoping to God the Bills take it tomorrow)!!!

egri 01-13-2025 07:02 PM

Until my team completes its rebuild, I'll be bandwagoning the Lions, or at least whoever can keep Kansas City from a three-peat.

philliesfan 01-13-2025 07:10 PM

#1 - Eagles
#2 - Anyone that will beat the Chefs

I see what you did there. "Great Googly Moogly"

SKOL! My team is the Vikings but they haven't showed up for the last two weeks........

SyrNy1960 01-14-2025 07:37 AM

Same thing, year after year, from my Vikings. 14-3 season doesn't mean squat. Ugh!

My take on it is that the head coach deserves Coach of the Year to get 14 wins out of that QB and O-line. The best job of over-achievement we've seen in the NFL in a long time.

When the carriage turned back into a pumpkin, I wasn't surprised and won a modest bet by picking the Rams.

D. Bergin 01-14-2025 12:10 PM

A part of me wants to see Stafford and Goff go at it in the NFC Championship Game, but that would mean 2 NFC East Teams get knocked out, and I usually root for the NFC East teams (except for Dallas), when the Giants are knocked out of it.

Giants might be out of it for another decade or so, the rate they're going.

Huysmans 01-15-2025 10:14 AM

The Jets are arguably the best team in the league this season, and I'm hoping for a long playoff run and possibly the team's first Stanley Cup championsh... oops! Wrong sport! :D

Dale Hawerchuk for the win Alex?

The year Topps gave up on the Jets......and every other NFL NHL team for a couple of years. ;)

People forget just how good Ducky was. RIP
Just four players in history have scored more points than Hawerchuk in their first NHL season.
Oddly, two of the top five were Winnipeg Jets, with Hawerchuk and Teemu Selanne (second behind just Wayne Gretzky).

Great player. For some reason in the middle to late 80's, 1982 OPC Unopened Hockey boxes were readily available from various dealers in the CT and New England areas, and I must have busted at least half a case worth of boxes as a teenager, looking for Francis, Fuhr and Hawerchuk.

Back to the topic at hand.

Goooooo! .......Ravens????

I don't know. I can't decide.

That's how I feel as a life long Patriots fan. I wanted the Lions, but they disappointed. Now, I'm hoping for the Bills.

GasHouseGang 01-19-2025 01:43 PM

Rams in the NFC and Chiefs from the AFC.

Lions fan since the 1970s. Each year I did not expect too much because, heck, it’s the Lions. Last year they reach the NFC championship game and I was happy. This year I bought in to the hype of them reaching the Superbowl and they lost to Washington. Ugh! This lost was tough to swallow. I question if they are ever are going to reach the Superbowl. The curse of Bobby Layne lives.

JollyElm 01-19-2025 07:45 PM

If anyone needs to find me, I'll be in the cardiac unit.

Buffalooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty crazy how much hype the NFCN had, only to go a combined 0-3, and none of the losses were particularly close. While I'm also a Patriots fan, I'm also backing the Bills now, just so a team that hasn't won it yet can get one.

Balticfox 01-19-2025 09:36 PM

I was surprised last week when the Chargers lost to the Texans. I was even more surprised yesterday when the Lions lost to the Commanders.

Oh well. So long as the Eagles knock off the Commanders next week I'll be happy with whoever is in the Super Bowl (not that I care that much anyway).

;)

If I was a betting man, I would have lost money on both of those games.
