Do we have visibility yet to all of the cards being offered, or just the 20 in the preview?

Didn't a PSA 2 go for something like 50k USD before ??

Just the 20 highlights for now. Auction opens January 25th & the entire preview (1,000+ lots) will certainly be available for viewing a few days before.

Why do I always feel like viewing a pre-war Ken Goldin auction is like sitting next to a drunk hot chick in a bar who is angry at her boyfriend and wants to get back at him, who even though I repeatedly tell her my Christian name, she calls me Patsy as she drags me out of the bar to her rented condo.

No good can come of this.

Great Joe T auction, with a ton of very rare Ruths, Cobbs and Jacksons.

This might be my favorite comment on here in a while - well done!

Based on the preview, it’s one heck of an auction.

Goldin signing Joe was the undisputed steal (best free agent move) of 2024.

I agree.

Some wonderful eye candy in the preview for Ruth collectors; I probably won't be in the bidding on those but I am looking forward to seeing what else is in there.

The information Joe provides about auctions no doubt is invaluable to bidders.

I agree with Ryan. Joe is a human dynamo. What he really should do is get some financing and start his own auction house.

Snapolit1 01-07-2025 06:41 PM

In a perfect world Joe would get a Nobel Peace Prize.

Jay, two years ago I begged Joe to start an auction house with me. I knew I was going to soon sell a ton of quality stuff and figured we had great seed items to build off of. But alas, he remains a great friend and an amazing fiduciary and promoter of my consignments, but not a business partner. Incidentally, my offer is a standing one, so maybe one day.... (although neither of us are getting any younger!)

Some amazing items in the preview. Beautiful example of the 1915 Red Sox postcard. I look forward to seeing the rest of the auction.

Baseball Rarities 01-08-2025 03:40 PM

Love the three postcards in the preview - the 1915 Real Photo Postcard of the Boston Red Sox with Ruth, the 1908 American League Publishing of Cobb and the the 1906-07 Sporting Life Composite Postcard of the Detroit Tigers with Cobb.

You also love Joe T., right?
