Broad Street Bullies (WTB thread)
 

I collect in cycles. Recently, I brought my hockey cards back out after they sat on the bench for a while. It seems like baseball season is a hundred years away, so I've been drawn towards the ice as of late. :cool:

Anyway, I'm looking to pick up a small lot (a few hundred or so) of Flyers cards from before 1990. This is a quantity over quality search...I'm actually looking for commons and minor stars.

Ideally, there would be very little duplication. I'm just looking to put a small binder together...kind of a trip-down-memory-lane book.

I'm not looking for super-sharp, gem mint, dead-centered blazers...or whatever the kids are calling PSA 10s these days. Corner wear is fine, off-centered is OK. Cards anywhere from VG to NM would be perfect.

So, let me know if you've got 70s and 80s bulk laying around. Maybe we can work something out.

Hi Eric. I probably have what you are looking for but it would take me a while to locate things as I have tons of boxes of stuff all around my house. Plus, I am not far from you and I loved those Bullies. I collected a lot of those Broad Street Bullies cards and other stuff from their days. I will see if I can find anything and let you know. Is it just cards you are looking for?

Yes, just cards. Maybe those sticker inserts from Topps/OPC packs, too. These are going into 9-pocket pages, just something to flip through on rainy (or snowy) days.

Again, I'm just looking for commons and minor stars. The cards I would never buy online because shipping makes it impractical. When even the price of a stamp is more than the price of the card... :eek:

ETA: Apparently, the strike is over so I picked up this lot. There's still a ton of cards from the 70s and 80s I don't have, though, so please let me know what you find.
