Gale Sayers auto help 1969 Topps
1 Attachment(s)
Trying to help my son with this pick up of his. I'm out of my element with Sayers/football. We've found some early 70s ball point autos authenticated by PSA DNA but this has, in my opinion, too many discrepancies.
Anyone think this is "good?" |
Sayers
Over the years I had the pleasure to correspond via mail with Mr. Sayers. He always had time to write and sign for fans. At the end of his life, you never knew what you would get back from him. Many times he mis-spelled or just left letters off his name. I see 0 issues with this all though it is interesting that it's in ballpoint. Which for the time period is good but not finishing is a bit weird. I so enjoyed reading his letters from his playing days.

Thanks for your comment. Examples I saw did not have rounded/curved S at bottom, the angle of the G seem off and the a's are sometimes "open" and sometimes "closed." |
Anyone else have any thoughts on this card?
