1928 Zeenut Ray Brubaker PCL Oakland Oaks neat image. Low grade creases edges and corner wear as pictured with writing on reverse. Ray never made it to the majors, but had a lengthy minor league career playing over 14 years, and then managing in the minors for about the same length of time. On May 1 1947 Ray was serving as manager of the Terra Haute Phillies playing at the Waterloo White Hawks. During the ninth inning Ray collapsed in the visitors dugout and carted off to the locker room ,where he was pronounced deceased.
