Hank was a member of the Pennant winning NY Giants 1951 (Bobby Thompsons “Shot Heard Round The World”) he was claimed by the Giants on June 30, and at first glance played little part in the Giants furious finish which saw them winning 37 of their final 44 games. However, ten years later, rumors began circulating that the Giants had been stealing signs using a telescopic spyglass owned by you know who Hank Schenz.
