Ted Williams Auto Bat- opinions
 

Hello to all. First post here :)

Concise background. My dad got me the bat below for Christmas in 1993 and it’s been in my closet since…I know many of Ted Williams auto’s are fake and wanted to get an opinion here before deciding to send to PSA. For the fun of it I called the number on the certificate of authenticity and the store is still open and owned by the same guy! Suppose that’s a good sign? Had a fun talk with him about his history in the business. Gotta be a legend if he’s made it through that many years!

Can’t say for certain if it’s authentic. If no Ted William’s experts respond in here, make a post in the Out or Safe Facebook page. They can give you a good indication if it’s authentic or not.

I like it but I wouldn't call myself an expert by any means.

I would lean toward authentic.

I cannot say for certain but probably worth at least doing a $10 online opinion from Beckett.

All you have to do is take a good picture and submit it online for an opinion.

PSA/DNA offers the same service but only for an item that is up for auction either on Ebay or in an auction house.

For Beckett, that is not required.

I wouldn’t mind knowing for certain, especially since it’s taken up closet space for so many years. I was also thinking PSA but had two bad experiences with them over the years (the only two times I submitted something).
