Today is officially the real start to the holiday season for me at least..
and I just wanted to wish everyone here a safe and loving time with friends and family.

I know many of you are traveling today and with the way the airlines have been for me this past year I wish you all luck getting to your destinations in a timely manner.

About 7 yrs ago there was a very young collector (early teens?) on the forum, Owen. He sent me a few holiday cards, which I thought was nice. I think we spoke on the phone a few times too...I am pretty sure I met him and his dad at the National, but wouldn't swear to it.

Happy holidays everyone. Tomorrow I host my first Thanksgiving ever, and today I'm in urgent care being tested for COVID and Flu because I have bronchitis. Last time I had bronchitis in 2011 it was nasty, popping ribs and the whole shebang. Crossing my fingers for a lighter battle this time. But, I thought I'd show you the turkey I'm cooking up.

I'm grateful that in a house full of people stuffing their faces and watching football,
