Storage strategies for high-end cards

Hey everybody.

As my collection grows ($), I'm feeling more anxious about the way I'm storing them. I'm interested to hear from those that have come up with a strategy they're happy with for keeping their big boy cards safe and secure for the long term.

Pros/cons to safe deposit boxes, PSA vaulting, fire-proof safes/cases, or just insuring everything via a homeowners policy and hoping for the best? What are your rules of thumb? Any tips on finding the right balance between security and actually being able to hold and enjoy your cards from time to time?

Thanks!

I stopped carrying my high end cards around with me in my pants pocket a few years ago. I now keep them in Ultra Pro sheets in D-ring binders:

I keep them buried in my back yard.

Well I actually keep them in a fireproof safe. And also insured by a private company......I think I have mine wit InsureCollect.

Safety deposit boxes leave you with limited access.

Vaults leave basically no access and you need to make sure your loved ones know where they are and what to do in case of your passing.
