An Apology

On Friday I received some pretty bad news regarding my brothers health. On Friday night I proceeded to get very drunk and very angry.

I ended up posting what imo was a pretty mean spirited post to a member who I don't even know.

I'd like to apologize to Leon, OhioLawyer, and any member I may have offended for being an a**hole, while we all have the ability to treat each other poorly, that is not my usual behavior or proper conduct on this forum.

Nice, Phil, and good for you. As I look back on my long life, one of the few regrets is that I didn't apologize for all of the times I was a jerk. Some, but not all. I wish your brother well.

No apology needed. I know I can press people's buttons sometimes. I'm trying to work on it. I just hope everything you are dealing with resolves well. I'm sorry for adding to your stress.

Phil, you are one of the good guys. Hard for me to imagine you going too far.

I went back and reread all the posts from this situation, and outside of differences of opinion it really wasnt that salty. It takes a big man to apologize... something rarely done these days online especially..... Casey I hope your brother does well and you and he have peace in your hearts about whatever may come. And to everyone here...... click on the link at the bottom of one of Caseys posts..... its like going to the National, lots of great cards, rare and HOFers, Bishop, Texas Tommy, Western Playground, all mixed in together with more recent Topps and Bowman..... check out each page, its a real treat!! A fantastic assembly of rarities!

I found nothing in the Goldin thread the least bit bothersome.

The only thing I found troubling was the reference in the opening sentence of this thread to bad news about a brother's health.

Timothy and Phil, good of both of you for what you've set in place... and well wishes for that brother.

I'm certain I should apologize for offenses committed here, in work, and in real life; a few I recall, I'm ashamed of myself that I've forgotten many of them, yet I know they're out there.
